About Me

My journey in arts-targeted design began in high school while learning to play the trumpet and becoming very involved in the marching band. It was the intertwining of music and visual design comprising the band's competitive halftime shows that completely intrigued me. I also became a huge fan of drum and bugle corps and eventually started working as a trumpet section coach, marching instructor, show designer, and assistant band director for a few high schools in Southern California.

At the beginning of the current millenium, I began working as a professional deejay and cultural event producer in and around the greater Los Angeles area. Those experiences having to promote live performances soon led to me dabbling in the creation of show posters to hang at venues and club flyers to physically hand out to eventgoers. The more assets that I created, the more I began to love the process of designing work related to music and the other arts. Soon, my work was getting noticed by other promoters and arts presenters and for the last 12+ years, I've been able to do what I love and work as a graphic designer.
