"Monopoly the Movie"
Motion Graphics

For the final project of the motion graphics (Adobe After Effects) course, students were asked to create an opening title sequence for a fictitious movie, tv show, or video game. If there was a movie based on the board game 'Monopoly,' this is how I'd like the title sequence to look.

I based the main plot of the fictitious Monopoly movie on a young woman from the more underserved suburbs of New York who has big dreams and the will to make them come true--sort of a 'rags-to-riches' story. Since the game board illustrations are flat, I wanted to use flat visual elements for the title sequence. And, of course, I found some great music to soundtrack the scenes. Hope you enjoy it!
